Essendon Extension
Our clients, Australians on an expat posting overseas, approached us to design a renovation and extension to their existing 1930s house, ready for their return. A series of infills and ‘70s lean-tos had left the house in poor condition. We designed a modernist, timber-clad kitchen, dining and living addition to the rear, with new bedrooms, bathrooms and service spaces added to the existing house. This project is currently being documented, with construction planned to commence later this year.
